About CMC
Strengthening what God is already doing among local churches.
We help church leaders turn ministry vision into sustainable action—and help churches share their gifts with one another.
Why CMC exists
Capacity for the work already in view.
Pastors and church leaders know their congregations, communities, strengths, and challenges. They often see opportunities for ministry clearly. What may be scarce is time, organizational capacity, additional leadership, or enough people to make a particular ministry viable.
CMC exists to help fill that gap. Sometimes the resources already exist within nearby churches. We help congregations identify those strengths, connect with one another, and put their gifts to work for the good of the wider church.
Our posture
Churches
serving churches.
CMC is not a consulting firm arriving with a packaged solution. We serve local leadership, help ministry take root locally, and encourage churches to share what God has entrusted to them with one another.
We serve the vision of local church leadership, build for local ownership, and connect churches to churches.
Jeff & Laurie Ronk
A ministry shaped by years of local church life.
Jeff served bivocationally as a church planter and pastor in Austin, Texas, while also working in healthcare leadership. Those two worlds helped shape CMC’s conviction that churches are best served by people willing to listen carefully, build patiently, and create sustainable ministry capacity.
Laurie is a natural relational mentor, a physical therapist, and holds a degree in nutrition. Her deep care for people across ages and stages of life is a gift to the church.
